Heaven and Earth, God and Man, Soul and Body as One Star of David

WHAT IS A STAR OF DAVID? A Star of David is a geometric configuration that has 6 equidistant points within a 360 degree radius or two interlocking triangles, one facing up and the other facing down...It is fair to say that it is a symbol of integration (linking heaven and earth, as above, so below) and spirituality.

The two triangles of the Star of David represent the inner duality of a person’s mind, such as the old good versus evil or spiritual versus physical aspects, but they also stand for the kinship between God and His chosen people-the Jews. The Star of David has one triangle pointed upward symbolic of our praise floating upward to Heaven, with the other pointed downward to symbolize God’s goodness flowing back into the world according to scholars.

Some scholars give the Star of David deep theological significance, because they say that the top triangle points upwards towards God and the other triangle points down towards the real world.
