H&M pulls shirt with skull inside Star of David after complaints 

Shoppers said the top — which appears to show a human skull inside a Star of David — was offensive and could be interpreted as anti-Semitic. H&M was quick to pull the piece and apologize.

Fashion brand H&M yanked a controversial tank top that showed a human skull inside a Star of David, apologizing to infuriated customers.

Shopper Eylon Aslan-Levy of the U.K. brought attention to the shirt when he posted a snapshot on Twitter on Sunday, later calling it an “obviously unfortunate mistake.”

It’s not clear what the shirt means — if anything — but altering religious symbols is still dangerous territory.

The Star of David is also used less prominently by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the temples and in architecture. It symbolizes God reaching down to man and man reaching up to God, the union of Heaven and earth. It may also symbolize the Tribes of Israel and friendship and their affinity towards the Jewish people. Additionally, it is sometimes used to symbolize the quorum of the twelve apostles, as in Revelation 12, wherein the Church of God is symbolized by a woman wearing a crown of twelve stars. It is also sometimes used to symbolize the Big Dipper, which points to the North Star, a symbol of Jesus Christ.

Since Daniel Gleason’s work is way too elaborate to be summarised in just a few words just in this book, without doing him justice. we simply present one example to illustrate his work. This example is fascinating since again it reveals the importance of the ‘Star of David’ or the interlaced tetrahedron as the symbol of the resurrection of Jesus:

This example is from John 20:31 where it says: 'But these things have-been-written that you might-have-Faith that Jesus is the Christ ... the Son of God ... and that having-Faith ... you may have Life ... in the Name of him.' (John 20:31)

And John 14:6: 'Jesus says to-him ... I am The Way and The Truth and The Life ... no-one comes to the Father except through me.' (John 14:6) Now consider the following Gematria values in Greek:

Life is 815. (Side of the tetrahedron)
Christ or Christos in Greek is 1480 (Circumference of a circle)
Jesus Christ with a Gematrian value of 2368 (Circumference of a circle)
The Son of God 2004. (Circumference of a circle)
The Risen Jesus has avalue of 8880. (Circumference of the outer circle)

Although the sceptical reader may call it a fabrication of numbers, in my opinion these numbers and their geometrical representation are not a coincidence. The fact is that the Star of David, the interlaced tetrahedron plays a significant role as a symbol throughout history and it shows up in many forms. In all cases it is related to the Merkaba, the vehicle for ascension. Also Jesus demonstrated his ascension with his resurrection from the dead.

Star of David and Kabala's Great Pillars of the Tree of Life

Tree of Life: The Great Pillars 

Victory, Glory and Foundation are the lower, psychological counterparts of the higher, spiritual principles of Mercy, Judgment and Beauty. The latter, in turn, are the spiritual counterparts or manifestations of Wisdom, Intelligence and Power. 

Mercy is also known as Compassion and includes Generosity. It is associated with freedom. Judgment is the same as Perception but is also known as Severity, Strength, Rigour, Righteousness and Justice. It is associated with discipline. Both mercy and judgment, or freedom and discipline, are needed in balance with each other. The generosity of mercy can be indulgent, self-defeating, blind and powerless without the strength given it by clear judgment and right discipline. Judgment, on the other hand, can be cold, harsh and altogether too severe without the warmth and generosity of compassion. Heart and mind need to act together in harmony, and then beauty ensues. Beauty lies at the centre of the Tree of Life and signifies the manifest heart of God, the balance and harmony point of all things. 


This balancing of the opposites is represented by what are known as the Great Pillars, signified by the three verti cal lines of the Tree of Life. The right-hand pillar is headed by Wisdom, the creative Light, symbolised by the Sun as the giver of light and with Mercy being known as the right hand of God. The left-hand pillar is headed by Intelligence, the sensiti ve Mind, symbolised by the Moon as the receiver and reflector of light and with Judgment being known as the left hand of God. The middle pillar is crowned by the Crown, with Beauty at its centre, symbolised by the Star of David. 




As the giver of light, symbolised by the Sun, the right-hand pillar is called the ‘pillar of fire’; whilst the left-hand pillar as the receiver of light, symbolised by the Moon, is known as the 'pillar of water’. The former is represented by the upward-pointing equilateral triangle, the latter by the downward-pointing equilateral triangle. Their balance, harmony and union is signified by Solomon’s Seal, which produces the ‘fi re-water’ or ‘ether’ of perfect, revealed Light, symbolised by the Star of David (the Christ Star).

The Messianic Seal of Jerusalem's Star of David

Messianic Seal of Jerusalem is a symbol for Messianic Judaism and Christians. The symbol is seen as a depiction of the Menorah, an ancient Jewish symbol, together with the Ichthys, an ancient depictive representation of Christian faith and the community of Jesus followers, creating a Star of David at the intersection. The Messianic Seal is not the only symbol of Messianic Judaism, which has other graphical representations such as the Menorah and Star of David, the cross in the Star of David, among others.
